The MASE-RING shown on the right in the dark Blue and Yellow colours, is a unique sealing system composed of a reusable stainless-steel outer ring (Yellow) and rubber inner ring (dark Blue) both having specially designed profiles that combine to create the optimal hygienic sealing solution within standard BSM/RJT piping connections commonly used in Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical processes.
Coupling sealing locations are traditionally regions for harbouring bacterial contamination and regular disassembly may be the only way to clean these units thoroughly.
Disassembly is expensive, interrupts the production process and is often overlooked.
Using the MASE-RING sealing arrangement meets all the EHEDG Hygienic Coupling Guideline requirements, ensuring an effective Clean-In-Place (C.I.P.) is achieved.
The MASE-RING also extends the life of the rubber sealing component by limiting its compression to between 15-20% and thereby the stress placed on the elastomer is kept optimal to maintain seal tightness.
MASE-RINGs are designed to be compatible with the NZ CIP version of the BSM/RJT union, when components are made in accordance with the Australia Standard 1528.2 2019 Amd. 1 2022
All Elastomers are Food Grade and compliant with at least the FDA CFR Title 21, Part 177.2600 to ensure Food Safety.
